About Rizwan Art Gallery

Back in 1993, Faisalabad didn't have a single art gallery, not one. What we had was a small glass and framing shop, Rizwan Glass and Framing, where we spent our days learning the craft by hand: cutting glass, building frames, getting things exactly right for people who trusted us with pieces they cared about.

That work taught us something we didn't expect, this city needed a real home for art, and nobody had built one yet. So in 2006, we did. Rizwan Art Gallery opened as the first art gallery in Faisalabad, not because we set out to be first, but because the space simply didn't exist and we weren't going to wait for someone else to build it.

Since then, we've grown into one of Pakistan's leading art galleries, but the reason hasn't changed. We're not chasing trends. We're doing what we always did back in that framing shop, taking care of the work, and taking care of the people behind it. We look for artists wherever they come from, give their work a proper home, and connect it with people who'll actually love it.

More than three decades after we first picked up a piece of glass, Rizwan Art Gallery is still doing that same job: giving Pakistani art, traditional and contemporary, a place to be seen, respected, and passed on.
